Founded in 1981, Pride Toronto is the largest Pride organization in North America and the second largest in the world, dedicated to celebrating and advocating for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. In 2024, Pride Toronto unveiled their new logo to include the additional colours of the Progress Pride Flag (black, brown, light blue, pink and white). The Progress Pride Flag is an adaption of the traditional 6-colour rainbow flag to include the larger 2SLGTBQIA+ community and with the new colours forming an “arrow that points to the right to show forward moment while being along the left edge shows that progress still needs to be made." Inspired by the addition of new colours and the symbolic arrow of progress, I reimagined Pride Toronto's logo and branding.
